Abstract

The article discusses the application of logistics analysis methods in regional commodity circulation systems. It shows that in the logistics organisation of commodity circulation, logistics management can take several forms, which are determined by the nature of the functioning logistics systems. Micro-logistical commodity circulation systems, macro-logistical commodity circulation systems and global logistical commodity circulation systems are identified. The concepts of logistical management of a business entity are critically examined, subject to certain changes and clarifications. An attempt is made to trace the impact of logistical processes on macroeconomic indicators. The process of implementing logistics management functions is analysed, which should include the following stages: collection and processing of initial information about the managed object; identification and analysis of the problem situation; general formulation of the problem and synthesis of its possible solutions; evaluation and selection of alternatives for solving the problem; modelling of the situation as a result of the implementation of the selected solution; organisation of the implementation of the management decision; evaluation of the result obtained. It has been shown that planning, as a function of logistics management of regional commodity circulation systems, must meet a number of requirements: the logistics plan for regional commodity circulation must be an integral part of the comprehensive plan for the socio-economic development of the region; this plan must be consistent with the resource capabilities of the region, including material and technical resources, financial and labour resources; planning must be carried out with the participation of all interested parties in the regional logistics system of commodity circulation; the plan must be detailed by participants, territories, enterprises, etc., down to strategic business units (SBUs). Logistics management is considered, which is expressed in the totality of means and forms of managing economic flows in regional commodity circulation systems. It is concluded that the main criterion for the effectiveness of logistics management in regional commodity circulation systems should be considered the priority of the total optimisation of the entire system over the sum of suboptimal states of the subsystems included in it.
