A Historical Analysis of Website Design and the Motivating Factors That Shift Web Design Principles and Practices

This research project reviews graphic design with respect to website design over a thirty-year period to draw connections between the advancements in digital technology, Internet web pages, and design psychology. A website landing page and its associated mobile page counterpart were designed by applying the research findings from literature and current trends, along with adding creative ideation.
