Abstract

The article is devoted to systematizing theoretical approaches to managing an enterprise’s informational and digital potential within the framework of digital coherence. The relevance of the study is driven by the deepening digital transformation of enterprises, the growing role of information in managerial decision-making processes, and the need to ensure alignment between digital initiatives, technologies, and strategic development goals. The article systematically analyzes approaches to defining the concepts of «management», «enterprise information potential», and «digital coherence», enabling the identification of their key substantive characteristics and interrelationships. It is substantiated that management in the context of digital transformation takes on an information-oriented nature and implies a purposeful influence of the management entity on complex socioeconomic systems through the use of digital tools. The informational potential of an enterprise is considered as a dynamic aggregate of information resources, organizational and technical capabilities, and the ability to work with information, which ensures the effectiveness of managerial decisions and the competitiveness of the enterprise. Special attention is given to digital coherence, defined as the characteristic of alignment and integration of digital technologies, initiatives, and managerial decisions within the enterprise. It has been demonstrated that digital coherence is a necessary condition for the efficient use of digital and informational potential. Based on the conducted theoretical synthesis, a generalized definition of enterprise digital potential management is proposed as a purposeful, information-based process of influencing the set of digital capabilities to ensure their coordinated functioning and the achievement of strategic development goals. The obtained results form a conceptual foundation for further applied and empirical research in the field of enterprise management in the context of digital transformation.
