Pengaruh ekstrak daun kelor (moringa oleifera) terhadap perbaikan kadar hemoglobin pada mahasiswa kebidanan dengan anemia
Abstract
Background: Adolescence is the second period of rapid growth and development after infancy and toddlerhood. Anemia is one of the nutritional problems in the world. Adolescent girls are at risk of iron deficiency anemia due to insufficient iron intake in the body. The efficacy of Moringa Oleifera leaf extract as a complementary therapy in increasing hematocrit levels and erythrocyte count Purpose: To determine the effect of moringa leaf extract (Moringa oleifera) on improving hemoglobin levels in students with anemia Method: A quasi-experimental study using a pre-posttest control with group design was conducted in October 2025 at the Midwifery Study Program, Kadiri University. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 50 participants divided into an intervention group and a control group. The independent variable in this study was moringa leaf extract, while the dependent variable was hemoglobin levels. Data analysis used univariate analysis in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the independent t-test. Results: Giving 1 gram of moringa leaf extract (Moringa Oleifera) for 14 days was shown to significantly increase hemoglobin levels (p-value=0.013; p
