A case report on the homoeopathic therapeutic management of insect bite with rhus toxicodendron
Abstract
Insect bites and stings are frequently encountered and are generally associated with mild, self-limiting symptoms. However, in certain cases, they may provoke severe pain and notable inflammatory or allergic responses. This report describes the case of a 23-year-old female patient who presented with a localized inflammatory reaction following an insect bite. The case highlights the effective management of an acute condition through homoeopathic intervention, demonstrating the potential role of homoeopathy in addressing such clinical presentations. Methods: Therapeutic selection was carried out on the basis of acute totality of symptoms.
