Abstract

Dermatological conditions constitute a significant proportion of chronic diseases affecting individuals across all age groups. These disorders often have multifactorial etiologies involving genetic predisposition, immune dysregulation, environmental influences, and psychological stress. Conventional dermatological treatments mainly focus on symptomatic relief and suppression, which may lead to recurrence or long-term dependency. Homoeopathy, based on the principles of individualisation and holistic healing, offers a promising therapeutic approach in the management of skin disorders. This article discusses the therapeutic potential of homoeopathy in dermatological conditions, highlighting its philosophy, scope, commonly used remedies, research evidence, and clinical relevance.
