Arachne’s loom: The arachnidan phármakon-weaving dynamis from entrapment to vital éclairecissement
Abstract
In homoeopathic therapeutics, the Arachnida group represents a distinctive phármakon of duality, wherein neurotoxic venoms, when potentized, transmute into agents of liberation for constitutions marked by restlessness, periodicity, and neural hypersensitivity. Derived from live spiders, venoms, or silken webs, these remedies exemplify Hahnemann’s principle of similia similibus curentur, particularly in tubercular-syphilitic miasmatic expressions [1, 2]. This article explores the biological, toxicological, doctrinal, and materia medica dimensions of spider remedies, integrating provings, clinical observations, and contemporary literature [3-5]. The Arachnidan signature ceaseless motion, entrapment, venomous discharge, and rhythmic amelioration reveals a coherent therapeutic sphere addressing chorea, epilepsy, septic states, neuralgias, and profound psychic unrest [6-9].
