Abstract

Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) is a common endocrine and metabolic disorder affecting women during their reproductive years and is frequently associated with menstrual irregularities, weight gain, acne, and polycystic ovarian morphology. Conventional management primarily focuses on hormonal regulation, which may provide temporary relief and is often associated with recurrence. Homoeopathy emphasizes an individualized and holistic approach, aiming to correct the underlying constitutional imbalance. This case report presents the successful management of a young female diagnosed with PCOD using individualized homoeopathic medicine Pulsatilla 200C. Notable improvement was observed in menstrual regularity, associated clinical symptoms, and ultrasonographic findings, suggesting the potential role of homoeopathy in the management of PCOD.
