Individualised homoeopathic treatment in a case of plantar corn (Clavus): A clinical case report
Abstract
Corns (Clavus) of the foot are common hyperkeratotic lesions resulting from chronic pressure and friction, leading to localized pain, tenderness, and difficulty in walking. Mechanical removal or surgical intervention are common components of conventional treatment; however recurrence is frequent if underlying susceptibility is not addressed. Homeopathy offers an individualized, non-invasive therapeutic approach aimed at treating both the local lesion and the patient’s constitutional predisposition. This article presents a clinical overview of foot corns managed successfully with individualized homeopathic treatment. The case highlights detailed case-taking, evaluation of characteristic symptoms, and remedy selection based on the totality of symptoms.
