Abstract

This case report presents the constitutional homoeopathic management of an 18- year-old female diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism associated with irregular menses, weight gain, hair fall, and characteristic mental symptoms. Detailed case taking based on Kentian hierarchy emphasized mental generals, physical generals, and particular symptoms. Repertorisation using Kent’s Repertory indicated Sepia as the most suitable remedy. A single dose of Sepia 200C was prescribed followed by placebo. Progressive improvement was observed over four follow-ups including regulation of menstrual cycle, reduction in fatigue and hair fall, emotional stabilization, and reduction in TSH levels. This case highlights the importance of individualized constitutional prescribing in endocrine and hormonal disorders.
