Abstract

Agriculture is the production of the goods through farming. Agriculture plays a vital role in the development of human civilization. Sustainable agriculture is a farming method that puts more emphasis on natural and renewable resources over synthetic inputs like pesticides and fertilisers. Rural development is an action plan for the economic and social upliftment of rural areas. Agriculture's major possible contributions to rural development are in the form of job creation, supplementary enterprises. Sustainable agriculture might prove essential for rural regions to maintain the social and economic infrastructure. Plans for rural development should take use of farming's ability to enhance on-farm operations and aid with supporting services in order to ensure rural regions have sustainable development. Policies should be sufficiently flexible in the context of agricultural reform to support the rural development. The main objective of present study is to make inquiries that how the sustainable agriculture practises can contribute in inclusive rural development. Literature reflects that sustainable agriculture is an essential element of rural development and without sustainable agriculture no one can imagine to create a more affluent and sustainable future for rural communities dependent on agriculture.
