Abstract

This study investigates the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in recruitment, retention, and workforce management at Quess Corp Ltd., a leading staffing solutions provider in India. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines survey data from 150 respondents and secondary sources to explore HR strategies’ impact on workforce performance. Findings reveal that technology-driven recruitment tools, such as applicant tracking systems, enhance efficiency and candidate fit, while retention initiatives like mentorship and flexible work arrangements foster engagement, though some dissatisfaction persists. Technology integration streamlines HR processes, but inadequate training raises concerns. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices promote inclusivity, yet gaps in communication and concern resolution require improvement. Statistical analyses, including Pearson correlation, linear regression, and Chi-Square tests, confirm significant relationships between HR practices, employee engagement, and productivity. The study underscores HR’s strategic role in addressing skill shortages and turnover, offering recommendations to refine recruitment, enhance training, and strengthen DEI efforts. These insights contribute to HRM literature and provide actionable guidance for staffing organizations.
