Abstract

This study looks at the sustainable financing practices used by a few Indian listed corporations. Corporate strategy, risk management, and capital allocation now heavily rely on sustainable finance, or financial operations that incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. A purposive sample of large listed Indian firms in the automotive, energy, and financial sectors are the subjects of the study, which uses a mixed-methods design to examine sustainability disclosures, annual reports, and green financing instruments (green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, blended finance, and equity-linked strategies). An empirical analytic plan, operational measures, illustrative findings, a conceptual framework, and policy implications for investors, regulators, and corporate management are all presented in this research.
