Abstract
The yield of extracts and qualitative phytochemical analysis of leaf, stem bark and fruit pulp of Aegle tamilnadensis Abdul Kader which is a close relative of A. marmelos (L) Correa was carried out at Presidency College, Chennai during 2016. fresh fruit pulp was used for extraction. The leaves and stem bark were shade dried for 20 days powdered mechanically and stored in airtight container to obtain crude extracts by soxhlet apparatus with methanol and petroleum ether solvents.
