Abstract

In recent years, emulgels have gained attention as a potential method for transporting hydrophobic medications. For targeted medication delivery to specific areas of the body, such as the eyes, rectal area, vagina, or skin, topical drug administration is the simplest and most straightforward method. Whether the skin is healthy or sick, they are administered as a broad variety of cosmetic and dermatological preparations. When traditional methods of drug administration are ineffective in treating cutaneous problems including psoriasis, acne, or fungal infections, emulgel (gellified emulsion) is sometimes employed as a topical drug delivery technique. The objective of present investigation is to formulate and evaluate emulgel prepared from Honey, Aloe Vera, Ochre and Shata- dhauta- ghrita.
