The effect of plyometric training on the levels of some blood components (hemoglobin, creatinine, and urea) and improving explosive power and speed in young tennis players
Abstract
This study aimed to design a plyometric training program and investigate its effect on explosive power, speed, hemoglobin, creatinine, and urea levels in young tennis players. The plyometric training program was applied to a sample of young tennis players, and the variables were measured before and after the program. The results showed a significant improvement in explosive power, speed, and hemoglobin levels, and a significant decrease in creatinine and urea levels. Conclusion The plyometric training program has a positive effect on explosive power and speed in young tennis players. The plyometric training program has a positive effect on hemoglobin, creatinine, and urea levels in young tennis players. Recommendations Apply the plyometric training program on a wider scale in training young tennis players. Modify the plyometric training program according to the needs and characteristics of the players. Follow up with players after applying the plyometric training program to ensure continued improvement.
