Abstract

This paper investigates the effectiveness of motivational incentives on employee performance with reference to Nexora Engineering and Infrastructure, Kochi. The study aims to understand how monetary and non-monetary incentives impact productivity, job satisfaction, and employee engagement. A descriptive research design was adopted, using primary data collected from 121 employees through a structured questionnaire. The findings revealed a strong positive relationship between incentive schemes and performance outcomes. It was found that while financial incentives increased short-term productivity, non-financial incentives such as recognition, career development, and supportive leadership enhanced long-term motivation. The paper concludes that a balanced incentive strategy integrating both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators is crucial for sustaining employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
