Abstract

The phrase "The end is the beginning" is not a direct quote from any specific religious scripture or classical text. Rather, it is a profound philosophical concept inherent in many Indian philosophies, particularly Sanatana Dharma. It reflects the eternal cycle of life, death, and creation. Its essence is that the end of one thing marks the beginning of another. Just as the end of the night is the beginning of a new day, or the end of death is the beginning of rebirth. In the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, the philosophy of the Gita reinforces this idea, where Lord Krishna states that the soul is immortal; the body perishes, but the soul enters a new body, beginning a new life (a new beginning). Therefore, it should be viewed as a fundamental principle of Indian culture and spirituality rather than the statement of a single individual.
