Efficacy of homoeopathic medicine-comperative study of Allium cepa and Allium ascalonicum L. (red onion scales) on growth of Solanum lycopersicum
Abstract
This experimental study evaluated the effect of Allium ascalonicum mother tincture and Allium cepa mother tincture is assessed on germination and pest control of Solinum lycopersicum compared with NPK fertilizer. The 228-day experiment used 15 pots per treatment: Allium ascalonicum Q, Allium cepa Q, and NPK. Earliest seed germination was seen in seeds treated will Allium ascalonicum Q. All treated plant show equal height and leaf growth. Experiment revealed that the germination percentage of the seeds treated with Allium ascalonicum and Allium cepa was more which suggests the effectiveness of the dilution in stimulation of early growth of seedlings and gave positive results in controlling of insects and pests. These homeopathic dilutions not only replicate NPK's growth-promoting effects, but surpass it in pest management, offering an eco-friendly alternative. Given the constraints of sample size and geographic scope in current agro-homoeopathic study, comprehensive, multi-sectoral studies are needed to validate these findings.
