Abstract

Systemic sclerosis is a chronic autoimmune connective tissue disorder characterized by progressive skin fibrosis, vascular dysfunction, and internal organ involvement, often associated with significant morbidity and limited therapeutic success in conventional medicine. This case report presents a 32-year-old female with a five-year history of systemic sclerosis involving extensive cutaneous sclerosis, Raynaud-like vascular symptoms, recurrent fingertip lesions, and early interstitial lung changes. Despite prolonged allopathic treatment, the disease showed fluctuating progression with seasonal aggravation, recurrent infections, persistent cough, and functional impairment. A structured classical homeopathic approach was adopted, emphasizing detailed case-taking, constitutional evaluation, totality-based remedy selection, and longitudinal follow-up. Over the course of treatment, the patient demonstrated sustained improvement in skin tightness, pigmentation, joint stiffness, vascular symptoms, pulmonary complaints, and overall quality of life, along with reduced dependency on conventional medications. This case highlights the role of individualized homeopathic management in complex autoimmune conditions and documents a clear clinical transformation achieved at Dr Batra’s Homeopathy Clinic.
