Development and Implementation of the Course “Methodology for Forming Mathematical Literacy” for Master’s Students in Teacher Education
Abstract
The article presents the concept of developing and implementing an academic course aimed at fostering mathematical literacy among lower secondary school students. It outlines the goals and objectives of the course, its structure, content, and methodological support. Special attention is given to practice-oriented learning, the use of interdisciplinary connections, and digital educational technologies. The results of the course pilot implementation and an assessment of its effectiveness are also provided.
