Abstract

The article presents the experience of integrating the clinical practice of the teaching staff of the Department of Clinical Disciplines at the International Medical Faculty into the educational process for international students. One of the key directions for improving the effectiveness of medical education is the integration of related academic disciplines, which is actively implemented at the department to develop students’ clinical thinking.Special attention is given to interdisciplinary integration, which encompasses the fields of phthisiology, medical radiology, and family medicine, as well as the implementation of modern pedagogical technologies such as problem-based and simulation learning, case methods, and binary practical classes at clinical sites. Analysis of the practical experience of clinician-teachers has shown that combining teaching and clinical activities contributes to the development of clinical reasoning, the formation of professional competencies, and enhances students’ motivation and independence.Interdisciplinary integration is considered an effective tool for improving the quality of the educational process by establishing a close connection between theoretical knowledge and its practical application. This approach makes the learning process more dynamic and meaningful, increases students’ interest in clinical disciplines, promotes their cognitive activity, and ultimately leads to improved academic performance.
