Abstract

Christianity in Kenya and Tanzania has deep historical roots, with early Portuguese and later Protestant missionaries significantly shaping its development. In Kenya, the geographical positioning and use of English fostered widespread evangelization, leading to diverse denominations often associated with specific tribes. Despite challenges such as political and economic shifts, Christianity in both nations continues to evolve, addressing issues like inculturation, social justice, and Christian-Muslim relations.
