Anglicans
Abstract
African Anglicanism has grown significantly since the 19th century through missionary activities and local evangelists, becoming indigenous. The church faces challenges related to inculturation, theological language adaptation, and internal disagreements, such as the ordination of women and the acceptance of homosexuality. Despite these challenges, the Anglican Church in Africa engages in ecumenical and interfaith dialogues while contributing to social justice, peace, and reconciliation.
