Myanmar
Abstract
Christianity in Myanmar was perceived as a threat to Burmese Buddhist identity, leading to restrictions and persecution. Under repressive military regimes, Christians faced discrimination and hardship but also witnessed church growth. With the transition to democratic rule, Christianity is experiencing a resurgence and increasing acceptance, marked by greater religious freedom and opportunities for evangelism.
