Brunei
Abstract
In the Sultanate of Brunei, Christianity exists as a minority religion facing significant restrictions within an officially Islamic state. The majority of Christians are migrant workers, primarily from the Philippines, drawn to Brunei's prosperous economy fueled by oil and gas reserves. Interdenominational cooperation and the adaptation of religious practices to the Islamic context are key features of Christian life in Brunei, highlighting the resilience and adaptability of the faith within a restrictive environment.
