Abstract

Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity has experienced rapid growth in East and Southeast Asia, driven by its dynamic worship, emphasis on spiritual experience, and focus on addressing everyday life challenges. While celebrated for its vibrancy and responsiveness to the needs of the poor and marginalized, Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity also faces criticisms regarding its potential for spiritual pride, triumphalism, and the need for a more balanced theological approach to blessings and prosperity. Despite these challenges, the movement continues to expand, shaping the religious landscape of the region through its missionary zeal and engagement with local cultures.
