Assessment of ecodestructive costs in the system of sustainable spatial forestry management
Abstract
The article examines the peculiarities of forming a systematic structural and substantive basis for the manifestation and assessment of ecodestructive costs (anthropogenic environmental costs), in particular the ecological and economic damage caused by the degradation of forest ecosystems in terms of the principles of balanced (sustainable) spatial nature management. The purpose of the article is to deepen the theoretical, methodological and methodical foundations for assessing anthropogenic environmental costs (ecodestructive costs) in forestry in the format of ecological and economic damage from the degradation of forest ecosystems in terms of the transformation of forestry space. From a theoretical, methodological and methodical standpoint, the necessity (target benchmarks) of a comprehensive assessment of anthropogenic environmental costs and ecological and economic damage from the degradation of forest ecosystems (forest biogeocenoses) due to the presence and action of negative natural and man-made factors (such as military actions, climatic anomalies, pollution, forest fires, low level of ecological use, reproduction and protection of forest ecosystems, etc.) is substantiated. The concept of ecological and economic damage in the system of spatial forest management is defined. Classification criteria for the species structure of ecological and economic damage are presented, taking into account the specifics of forest management. The stages of economic assessment of the negative consequences of anthropogenic transformation of forest resources (biogeocenoses) and its connection with the methodology of economic assessment of forest resources are characterised. The composition of aggregate eco-destructive costs in the system of sustainable spatial forest management is determined. A theoretical and methodical approach to the relative operational and current assessment of ecological and economic damage from ecodestructive factors is proposed, based on the economic value coefficients of raw material and non-raw material functions (services) of forest ecosystems, as well as the coefficient of costs for implementing the necessary forestry measures in relation to the rent assessment of timber reserves.
