PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN SEKSUAL ANAK USIA DINI DALAM PERSPEKTIF ISLAM

The purpose of this study was to increase parents' understanding of early childhood sexual education in Mutiara Medang Lestari Kindergarten, Pagedangan Tangerang District with treatment in the form of workshops: parenting and role playing. This research is Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were the parents of 10 Mutiara Kindergarten students. Source of data from school principals and parents. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data validity uses data and method triangulation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The research procedures are planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research through treatment in the form of parenting workshops and role playing can increase parents' understanding of early childhood sexual education from pre-action 0.83% to cycle I 17.5% to cycle II 66.6%. The pre-action process given to parents is giving a questionnaire to find out how much parents understand about early childhood sexual education. The conclusion of this study is that giving treatment in the form of parenting workshops can increase parents' understanding of early childhood sexual education in Mutiara Kindergarten.
