Abstract

Modern angiographic complexes allow to perform flat-detector computed tomography (FDCT) directly in the cath lab, without the need to transfer the patient. And also to plan and perform neurosurgical interventions with real time 3D-control. This increases the accuracy of operations and reduces the patient risk, and also allows in some clinical cases to exclude the use of neuro-navigation stations. In the clinic we developed a technique and an algorithm for FDCT-navigation during neurosurgical interventions.
