Social partnership as an organizational resource of social work: interaction between the state, NPOs, and local communities
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations as well as the organizational potential of social partnership as a significant resource for the development of the contemporary system of social work, which operates within the logic of cross-sectoral interaction among the state, non-profit organizations, and local communities. Within this context, the transition from hierarchical and institutionally isolated models of social governance to network-based, cooperative, and socially contextualized forms of organizing social assistance is substantiated. The effectiveness of these forms is determined by the degree of alignment of stakeholders’ interests, the sustainability of cross-sectoral communications, and the presence of institutionally formalized mechanisms of distributed responsibility.
