Import substitution in industrial digitalization: new solutions to control and improve production efficiency
Abstract
The sanctions pressure of recent years has dramatically changed the landscape of industrial automation in Russia. What previously seemed like a distant prospect has become a harsh reality — enterprises are massively abandoning the solutions of Siemens, GE, SAP and other Western giants. This process turned out to be painful, but at the same time it gave a powerful impetus to the development of domestic technologies. Many production managers initially perceived import substitution as a necessary measure, but today there are more and more positive reviews about Russian analogues. The speed of adaptation is surprising — something that would normally take years happens in months.
