Abstract

The article is devoted to a review of modern methods for restoring the worn surfaces of parts, including surfacing, thermal spraying, galvanic coatings, polymer composites and additive technologies. Key trends in repair technologies are considered, such as the use of laser cladding, nanostructured coatings, hybrid methods and digital modeling of restoration processes. Particular attention is paid to the restoration of parts made of special steels and alloys, as well as technologies that provide restored surfaces with characteristics superior to the original ones. Based on current research, promising directions for the development of restoration technologies that contribute to increasing wear resistance, corrosion resistance and fatigue strength of parts are presented.
