Abstract

In recent years, probiotics, bacterial drugs from living microbial cultures, have been widely used to prevent diseases, treat animals, and increase their productivity. Their effectiveness is associated with beneficial metabolic changes in the digestive tract, better absorption of nutrients, increased body resistance, and antagonistic effects on harmful microflora. The purpose of the research was to study the effect of immunostimulating drugs on the body of broiler chickens. The scientific and laboratory experiment was carried out on chickens of the cross Cobb 500. In order to carry out the experiment, three groups of broiler chickens were formed such as the control group, which received the basic ration, the 1st experimental group, which received in addition to the basic ration the probiotic drug Vetom 2 at a dose of 50 mg per 1 kg of live weight, the broilers of the 2nd experimental group received in addition to the basic ration the probiotic drug Lactobifadol at a dose of 0.2 g per 1 kg of live weight. The live weight of broiler chickens of the 1st experimental group was 3.5 % higher than the control group (P ≥ 0.95). The results of the control slaughter showed that the weight of the gutted carcass in the 1st experimental group was also by 5.3 % higher (P ≥ 0.999), the yield of the gutted carcass was by 1.1 abs.%, the weight of the breast was by 10.3 % (P ≥ 0.999), the weight of the leg quarter was by 1.2 % and the lower legs was by 1.3 % higher than the broilers of the control group. The live weight of broiler chickens of the 2nd experimental group was higher than the control by 6.6 % (P ≥ 0.99), the weight of the gutted carcass by 8.9 % (P ≥ 0.99), the yield of the gutted carcass by 1.4 abs.%. Accordingly, the breast weight of chickens of the 2nd experimental group was by 15.7 % (P ≥ 0.999) higher than in the control group chickens, wing weight was higher by 4.2 %, leg quarter by 17.8 %, lower legs by 6.4 % was higher. Thus, the use of immunostimulating probiotic drugs Vetom 2 and Lactobifadol in the feeding of broiler chickens had a positive effect during their rearing.
