The main approaches to the development of tribotechnical coatings, including serpentine friction geomodifiers
Abstract
This study presents the results of an analysis of the characteristics of tribotechnical coatings in the context of their formation when serpentine geomodifiers, such as magnesium, nickel and aluminum hydrosilicates, are introduced into lubricants of friction units. The key properties of these coatings, as well as the mechanisms of their formation, are considered, which allows for a deeper understanding of the effect of geomodifiers on tribological parameters of lubricating systems.
