Abstract

This article focuses on the challenges of methodological support for assessing the economic security of dairy industry organizations. Given that there are currently no uniform industry-specific methods for assessing the economic security of business entities, and given that the dairy industry, according to the Food Security Doctrine, is a priority for state support and a guarantor of national and food security goals, the need to develop methodological approaches to comprehensively assessing the economic security of enterprises in the dairy and agro-industrial complex is growing and becoming essential. This article proposes a methodology for assessing economic security based on an integrated indicator, which includes specific indicators from four functional blocks of dairy industry organizations. The results obtained can be used to monitor threat levels and take timely measures to neutralize them at the micro level, as well as at the macro level for industry monitoring and the development of state support measures.
