Plantas alimentícias não convencionais (PANC): uma ferramenta na Educação Socioambiental e ampliação do repertório alimentar
Abstract
PANC are little explored in food, but they have great environmental and nutritional potential. The aim of this study was to use PANC as an educational tool for socially vulnerable children. The qualitative research involved children aged 6 to 10 in activities about identification, recipe preparation and environmental awareness. After 11 meetings, greater interest and changes in eating habits were observed. The project resulted in a recipe book, a survey of local PANC and a community garden, highlighting PANC as a tool for sustainable practices and environmental education, promoting food security and sustainability.
