Abstract

This paper reports environmental education actions carried out through the traveling exhibition “Wildlife Trafficking: Does Life Have a Price?”. The proposal utilized taxidermied and glycerinated materials, dioramas, and graphic resources depicting illegal trafficking, transportation, and captivity conditions. Based on sensitive approaches, the action aimed to evoke empathy and critical reflection on the issue. Approximately 1,709 individuals, ranging from children to the elderly, were impacted, eliciting emotions such as sadness, empathy, and indignation. It is concluded that the sensitive dimension is a powerful tool in constructing meaningful educational experiences, promoting sustainable practices, and combating wildlife trafficking.
