Programa de práticas de Educação Ambiental no Parque Natural Municipal da Serra do Mendanha para a conservação do ecossistema local
Abstract
The aim of this report was to develop an Environmental Education Program in the Serra do Mendanha Natural Park Conservation Unit, with the aim of raising awareness among visitors, residents and Park workers about the need and importance of taking care of this region, which is considered the main green area in the West of the City of Rio de Janeiro. Although the environmental education actions have been one-off, it's believed that the continued maintenance of the program could lead to a concrete behavioral change in relation to the importance of preserving the ecosystem of the Mendanha Natural Park.
