Anterior maxillary rehabilitation associated with platelet aggregates: case report
Abstract
Dental implant rehabilitation has become one of the main therapeutic alternatives for partially or totally edentulous patients, restoring function, aesthetics, and quality of life. Since Brånemark’s discovery of osseointegration, implant dentistry has evolved significantly, incorporating regenerative techniques and biomaterials in cases of bone deficiency. This study aims to report a clinical case of anterior maxillary rehabilitation with single implants associated with synthetic biomaterials and platelet aggregates. The patient, a 40-year-old healthy male, presented bone loss in the anterior maxilla and aesthetic complaints related to removable prosthesis use. The treatment plan included cone morse implants associated with particulate synthetic bone graft, resorbable membrane, and L-PRF. The results demonstrated adequate bone regeneration, implant stability, and satisfactory aesthetic rehabilitation. It is concluded that the association of cone morse implants, synthetic biomaterials, and platelet aggregates is a predictable and effective alternative for anterior maxillary rehabilitation.
