Abstract

This study examines China's economies-of-scale advantage in global markets and the extent to which recurring crises in the Middle East affect its manufacturing competitiveness. The paper develops an integrated framework that links economies-ofscale theory, geopolitical risk, and international trade performance.China's competitive strength is analyzed through production scale, industrial clustering, logistics efficiency, and coordinated resource allocation, rather than solely on low labor costs.Using a multi-method empirical strategy that includes time-series analysis, panel estimation, and crisis comparisons, the study evaluates the effects of oil price shocks, freight disruptions, and regional instability on exports, manufacturing output, and unit production costs. The findings indicate that Middle East crises generate China's Structural Scale Advantage in Global Manufacturing: Production Efficiency, Geopolitical Shocks, and the Economic Implications of Middle East Crises
