Abstract

This study examines the relationship between financial decision-making and financial literacy within an integrated financial system, with a particular focus on the technical dimensions of financial literacy.Using a combined bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review approach, the study analyses 1,593 academic publications published between 1992 and 2024.The findings reveal a substantial growth in both the volume and influence of financial literacy research, with annual publications increasing from 43 articles in 2014 to 247 articles in 2022 and 2023, alongside rising citation impact. The analysis highlights financial literacy as a multidimensional construct measured through diverse indicators, which may not fully capture variations across Vidya A, S Rajamohan
