A Comparative Analysis of the Attributes of Bungumyo Tombs(墳丘墓) in the Seosan Region
Abstract
This paper briefly compares and studies the remains of the Bungu tomb investigation in Seosan area by examining the location, construction method, scale, and excavated relics. The Bungu tombs identified in Seosan were contrasted within the 3rd to 5th centuries, and over time, it was possible to grasp the changes in the Bungu tomb contrast method: single → multiple chapters, horizontal → multiple chapters, and vertical. First, around the 3rd century, Bungu tombs are densely distributed like Yecheon-dong ruins, but generally, they are placed within a certain interval to show the shape of a head, and by the middle of the 4th century, the main parts are horizontally connected around the Gisei area, expanding the Bunggu tomb. In the second half of the 4th century, when the Bunggu tomb is contrasted within the Bunggu-ri ruins and the Bunggu tomb is contrasted (No.5) alone without overlapping the existing main parts in the construction method. In the same way as the Gisei ruins, when the main parts are horizontally connected (No.6) and the shape of the Bunggu tomb is close to the rectangular shape. Finally, it is confirmed that the burial subject part is overlapped vertically (No.4, No.7), and as many as seven burial facilities are overlapped. The form of Bungu tombs, in which various contrast methods are identified, makes it possible to guess that Bungu tombs were used as traditional tombs representing the local community for a relatively long time in Seosan. In Chapter Ⅲ, as Seosan's Bujang-ri ruins were mainly reviewed, various contrast methods, award ceremonies, and excavated relics of Bungu tombs within the Bujang-ri ruins were reviewed. In conclusion, it was possible to examine the maintenance of the independence of the Hanseong Baekje community based on the traditional culture of the Hanseong Baekje, focusing on the remains of Seosan Jangbu-ri, a local community of the Hanseong Baekje, and through Baekje-style earthenware culture, including Baekje Hanseong-gi such as Gilt-bronze Gwanmo, the interaction between the central part of Baekje and the local community is active Since the 3rd excavation investigation is currently in progress and the investigation has not been completed, there are limitations of the contents that cannot be covered in this paper. This is to investigate the historical value of the headquarters by closely reviewing and supplementing insufficient contents through the completion of the investigation in the future.
