Abstract

This paper aims to critically evaluate current assessment methods for soft tissue coverage in extremity injuries, analyze the decision-making criteria guiding reconstructive choices, and explore how these strategies influence healing, functionality, and limb preservation, thereby contributing to the optimization of extremity injury management protocols.
