Abstract

Feedback is an essential factor for achieving meaningful learning. The objective of the study was to analyze the scientific evidence on effective feedback as a teaching strategy used in online classes in the Peruvian university environment, in order to understand its impact on the learning process and on the improvement of teaching practice. Through a descriptive bibliographic review under the PRISMA statutes, databases such as Scopus, Redalyc, SciELO and WoS were consulted, applying inclusion criteria that covered publications from 2018 to 2022 and articles from high-impact academic journals. Out of a total of 13 selected articles, three key categories were identified: Virtual environments and feedback, From evaluation to feedback and feedback Effectiveness. The conclusions highlight feedback as a dialogical process within formative assessment, which is reinforced by the possibilities of interactivity, immediacy and flexibility offered by online education.
