Competencia intervención comunitaria: Miradas teóricas y una aplicación práctica en la carrera Gestión Sociocultural para el Desarrollo
Abstract
Contemporary society with its accelerated changes and the Sustainable Development Goals require universities to train professionals who investigate, lead and assume community transformations. The undergraduate training program Sociocultural Management for Development, at the University of Matanzas, in response to these needs, forms a professional with qualities to mediate in the community and promote sociocultural transformations in that area. The present research was based on the interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach, with the purpose of objectively observing the object of study: the formation of community intervention competence in the aforementioned career. The type of research used, exploratory cross-sectional design with descriptive elements, facilitated the analysis and collection of data from the students of the program in their final year. Actions of teaching and scientific methodological work are presented, as part of the theoretical-methodological conception for the formation of community intervention competence in this professional. A favorable transformation was observed, which confirms the scientific value of the proposal.
