First Record of Winged Lanternfish, Lampanyctus alatus (Myctophidae, Myctophiformes) Juvenile Collected from the Eastern Sea of Jeju-do Island, Korea
Abstract
2024년 5월 제주도 동부 해역에서 봉고네트로 샛비늘치과 치어 1개체 (체장 7.56 mm)가 채집되었으며, mtDNA COI 염기서열에 의거 Lampanyctus alatus로 확인되었다. L. alatus는 국내에서 처음 보고되는 종으로, 상세한 형태학적 특징을 제공하고 새로운 국명을 제안한다. L. alatus 치어는 둥근 눈, 뭉툭한 주둥이, 비교적 큰 머리, second branchiostegal (Br2) 및 fifth pectoral organs (PO5) 발광포, 가슴지느러미와 두정부에 흑색소포를 가지는 점에서 특징적이다. 우리의 치어 표본을 동속의 L. fernae와 비교하면, 지느러미 기조수, 흑색소포 분포, PO5 발광포 유무 등에서 잘 구분된다. 우리는 L. alatus의 새로운 국명으로 ‘날개샛비늘치’를 제안한다.
