Abstract
This research is dedicated to the validation of a methodology for the study of human life goals, focusing on elucidating its capabilities and diverse application perspectives. To achieve this, a cohort of 182 participants, encompassing varied ages and genders, was recruited to ensure the objectivity of the investigation. The developed instrument effectively captures the content of life goals, delineates the methods of their attainment, quantifies the degree of achievement, identifies impeding factors, and documents the actions undertaken for their mitigation. The findings derived from this study provide empirical support for the methodology's evident, substantive, and construct validity. The paper examines the potential applications of various goal classifications for the analysis of their content. A novel classification of goals is introduced, enabling their determination through three primary categories: "Health", "Family Realization", and "Societal Realization". Obstacles encountered on the path to goal achievement and their corresponding overcoming strategies have been systematically analyzed and classified. The identified obstacle categories include: "Temporal", "Financial", "Educational", "Psychological Barriers", "Self-Organization", and "Emotional-Volitional". Furthermore, strategies for obstacle resolution have been refined: "Volitional", "Cognitive", "Educational", "Financial", "Social", "Professional Assistance", and "Self-Care". A statistically significant correlational relationship has been established between two variables: the measure of goal achievement and the measure of obstacle overcoming. Consequently, the methodology is deemed valid and applicable for both scientific research and practical professional endeavors.
