Grounds for refusal to grant approval of the defendant’s application on the statute of limitations on claims
Abstract
This study examines the grounds for refusal to grant approval of the defendant’s application on the statute of limitations on claims in the context of the division of jointly acquired property. We focus on the practical aspects of using the statute of limitations on claims, its complexity, and ambiguity. The analysis examines current issues regarding the specific application of statutes of limitations on claims in family disputes. These issues are important both for legal scholarship and for the practical application of civil law. Recommendations for improving legislation regarding the application of the statute of limitations on claims in family law are offered in conclusion.
