Penguatan Kapasitas SDM Pariwisata untuk Pemberdayaan Desa Wisata Jamalsari melalui Program Bimtek

Strengthening Tourism Human Resource Capacity for the Empowerment of Jamalsari Tourism Village through a Training Program. A community service program was carried out in Jamalsari Tourism Village, Mijen District, Semarang City, aiming to enhance the capacity of tourism human resources (HR) and digital promotion skills based on local potential. The main problems identified were the lack of competent tour guides and the limited use of digital promotion. The method used was training, mentoring, and evaluation through a participatory approach. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ skills in hospitality, tour guiding, and creating digital content for social media and the village’s promotional website. This program has generated tangible impacts, such as increased community awareness of professionalism in tourism and the strengthening of the village’s digital identity. The findings confirm that training-based empowerment and digital innovation are effective strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of community-based tourism destinations
